Biden-Harris administration proposes first-ever national standard to protect communities from PFAS in drinking water
The U.S. proposed national drinking water standards for six PFAS. The proposal would regulate PFOA and PFOS as individual contaminants, and four others (PFNA, PFHxS, PFBS, GenX) as a mixture.

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) seeks input on proposed PFAS restriction

Receipt deceit: Toxic chemicals in receipt paper
This analysis of bisphenols in receipt paper found BPS in nearly 80% of receipts tested – down from 84% of receipts tested in 2017. BPA was present in less than 1% of receipts tested, and safer chemical alternatives in 20% of receipts tested. Report by the Ecology Center.
